Tonight I was getting the kids ready for bed and told Stella to come to the kitchen for her medicine, she walks out like this:
She can never have on enough accessories!
The kids had school today and this is the paper that Stella brought home from school. You can see that their are dotted line triangles that she is suppose to connect the dotted lines with to learn how to draw a triangle. Her work is in purple, I thought she did pretty good for a three year old but I am her mom and think that everything that she does is wonderful!

This evening we got out our Elf on the Shelf book and read it. I think that this should be interesting to see how it will effect Stella's behavior, Rhett I think is still too young to understand that Santa is watching if he is naughty or nice. It was funny, we could not get Stella to understand that you have to name your elf you don't just call it Elf on the Shelf. She finally chose Owen, so, Owen will be letting Santa know how one little girl is behaving around this house!

After church today my mom and I went and ran a few errands. While we were out we got Stella a new nativity scene that is by Veggie Tales. She already has one that is little tike but she is really into Veggie Tales so we thought she would like it. Well, she does but she likes both and won't let Rhett play with either one! Tonight she was busy hiding all the pieces in her bed so that he would not be able to find them!

We came home today from the lake house and have been doing laundry. This evening Rhett and I were hanging out and I realized that he must be pretty tired because this is what I saw: He is so funny when he is ready for bed, the kid is ready for bed.
I just love this little guy, when he sees someone sitting on the floor he runs for their lap and sits right down into it.

Happy Black Friday Shopping everyone! I have to say it was really nice and cozy in my bed this morning while all of you crazy people were waiting in long cold lines to get into stores! I did order a couple of things on line today but that is the only shopping I did, I will probably regret not getting some of those wonderful deals but life will go on. This afternoon I did take Stella to see Disney's new movie Tangled. It was really cute and it was fun to spend some time with just her and I. I love my Stella.

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I woke up still pretty sick to my stomach and did not want to make anyone else in my family sick so, I sent Jason and the kids with my parents to Thanksgiving lunch with the rest of the family while I stayed behind and rested. I have to say that I was really sad to miss out on all the wonderful food and just being around the family. It just makes me a little more thankful for my good health and wonderful family. Jason said the kids ate really good and Rhett put away the food!

We are back at the lake house today. I am not feeling really good, the car ride over was an adventure but we made it and hopefully I will start feeling better. I thought it was funny tonight I looked over and there are my two playing on their gadgets. Stella has my iphone and Jason on the lap top.

This has been so funny. Stella thinks that nativity scenes are really cool and loves to play with them. (Makes me think that maybe a doll house is not such a bad idea for Christmas) She will stand at the table for an hour moving them around and making them do different things. Today she informed me that they needed to take a nap because baby Jesus had kept everyone up all night with his crying!
I later noticed that she was taking decorations from the tree and putting them with Mary and Joseph when I asked what was going on she said that they needed some breakfast in bed but don't worry they won't get any crumbs on their sheets!
Stella I love you and all the wonderful things that you come up with!

Well, Jason and I are home from our wonderful weekend of rest and relaxation. We are back and getting ready for the week ahead. Jason thought I had lost my mind this evening but soon realized that it was a pretty good idea. Stella loves to paint so I let the kids paint the dishwasher this evening. It was great because to clean up they just put in the bathtub and shut the door to the dishwasher and turn it on! They had so much fun with it.

I feel really bad today, while Jason and I have been getting some much needed rest and enjoying a few good meals and saw a couple of movies, my mom and Rhett have had a nasty tummy bug! I feel so bad that my mom has been sick today but even worse that they have had to deal with Rhett also being sick! Thank goodness that no one else got it and that Mallory was there to get Stella out of the house so that the other two could sleep and my dad could take care of them.

This afternoon we dropped the kids off at Gigi and Papi's and headed down to the lake house, just Jason and I! I was so excited to just have a little time with out the kids, I feel bad saying that but I was really in need of some rest. I knew the kids were in great hands and were going to have a lot of fun, my cousin Mallory was also at the house to help out! Thanks Mallory!
This is funny, Stella sleeps on the futon in my parents room when she stays at their house. Well, I guess she wanted to make sure they could find her when they came to bed this evening because she left them a map in sticky notes around her bed!
Yes, she is wearing pearls to bed, why is that odd to people?

The kids had school today and Stella's class had a special Thanksgiving lunch. Jason and I got to go and have lunch with her and she was very excited to see us there. I have to say it is fun to see her in that different environment and how she acts. I only had my phone with me so I got just )this sweet shot of her getting ready to give me a kiss. Sweet girl (well, most of the time!)This afternoon the kids had taken naps and when I got Rhett up I did not put his pants back on him. I had looked over at one point and totally thought of the movie with Tom Cruise called Risky Business. Rhett just needed a broom for a guitar and some socks. (Maybe a good idea for Halloween next year.) When Jason walked in the house this evening he looked at Rhett and instantly said "Well, hello Risky Business!" I just started laughing that we had both thought the exact same thing.
Well, later this evening we had some serious riskiness going on around here. We were cleaning up dinner and look over, Rhett is standing dancing and smiling and there is a diaper laying on the ground next to him. Sure enough, he had some how gotten his diaper off and only had his shirt on, that is what you call RISKY BUSINESS!
And of course, Stella had to check to make sure it was his diaper laying on the floor, not sure who she thought the diaper would belong to seeing as he is the only one that wears diapers in our home!

This morning Stella was looking through all the magazines that had arrived in the mail the past couple of days. Someone in this house is making a list for Santa, I sure hope Santa get a surprise bonus or raise the the next couple of weeks because one little girl has a pretty big list! Another sippy cup bites the dust in this house! I was taking a pic of Stella and look over to see this going on, I have a rule about our cups, they can spill once but a second mess means they go in the trash! Rhett has figured out that ones that have nipples that are removable he can bite on them and pull them out. NOT cool for me to have to keep cleaning up the mess!

This is what dinner normally looks like at our house, well, I am normally in the chair next to Rhett, just imagine me in my spot. This is what happens every night at dinner, about twenty times. Rhett throws his bottle and it end up on the ground.
After the twentieth time, Dad throws his hands up and is done!

The kids have been pretty good today, we are are just hanging out at the house being kind of lazy. Stella told me she was going to drive a train. I said that sounded like a great thing to do, the next thing I know this is what is going on in my house. This is just a prime example of my kids personalities. Stella is in charge, she is the driver of the train and telling everyone what and how they are suppose to do things. Rhett is a long for the wild ride, he may be a passenger but he is going to do it his way and probably a little bit dangerous. (photos are with my phone so not the greatest.) Just so everyone knows, no children were hurt in making these photos, we are all about safety around this house! (do you hear all that sarcasm in my voice?)

Today after church we were to eat and Rhett was just done with being at the table. Gigi and I took him outside for a little while to walk around while everyone else was finishing their meals. Rhett had his first walking injury, I am sure it is a first but will not be a last. He was going down a ramp and feel flat on his face, he cut under his nose on the cement.

WOOOO PIG SOOOOIE! Jason, Stella, and I got to freeze our booties off and attend the last home game of the Razorbacks. (Rhett got to stay nice and warm at Gigi and Papi's house) It was a really good time and really nice to spend a little one on one time with Ms. Thing. Pretty sure Rhett enjoyed his one on one time with Gigi and Papi just as much! The game was fun but not the most exciting, we were winning by a pretty large spread so, at half time with went back to the house with everyone else to watch it by a nice warm fire! Stella eating her hot dog, she thinks that anytime you attend a sporting event it means that you get to eat a hot dog.
Giving Daddy some love. (please ignore the fact that she has food hanging out of her mouth, GROSS!)
Sitting on Mr. DW lap. It is fun seeing her sitting on his lap and chatting with him because he is one of my dad's best friends but my good friend Erin's dad. I have spent many hours in a car with him chatting as a little girl. Our families live about thirty minutes apart but he worked in the town that we lived, on Friday evenings after work he would stop and pick me up for sleep overs at his house. Those little drives would give us a chance just to chat and hang out. It is now fun to see my daughter having some of those chats with a very nice and sweet gentlemen.
Did I mention that Barbie got to attend the game with us? No, she was not cold at all in her swim suit, I do not even know why you would ask such a silly question. I mean we had to put some sun screen on the poor girl because she was going to get a sun burn at the 6 PM game and 40 degree weather. I do not know why anyone would think that this was odd or why her father was just shaking his head at us.
When we got back to the house, Stella took Rhett for a ride on the rocking horse.
