Oh Christmas Tree

I got the tree up on Monday while Stella was at school. I love Christmas and I do think that she is going to be taking after her me and love the holidays. She could not stop staring at the tree and was just wanting to touch it. I had left a few ornaments for her to be able to put on it and she loved that, she has done pretty good about leaving it alone for the most part. We have had only one broken ornament which I think is pretty good. One funny thing, when Stella walked in the door from school and saw the tree she screamed " I love it Mommy! Thank you so much!" and gave me a great big hug. You have to hear her say this with a great big southern drawl that I don't know were it is coming from but she is now saying that she loves everything and it is pretty funny. (Ignore her hair in these photos she had just woken up from a nap)

Thanksgiving

We had a pretty good Thanksgiving. We spent the weekend at our lake house in Branson, MO. I am really mad at myself because I did not take any photos this weekend. The two you see bellow are the only photos that got taken of the kids all weekend! I was sick and so was the rest of the family, no one was sleeping except for Rhett but only during the day! I have to say that I hope that Rhett's second Thanksgiving goes a little bit better for our family. Any way I did not get any photos except for Stella watching a movie and Rhett finally passed out from a crying fit! I have to say thought it was really good to see all of my family and to have some really yummy food. Stella enjoyed snacking off of everyones plate. She thought that my Uncle Mike was very cool and for some reason called him Michael all weekend! We have no idea were she got it from and none of us call him by his full name so it was pretty funny.

Church

We were getting ready for church Sunday morning and I wanted a photo of the kids because they looked really cute. Well, as you can see I did not get one of the together and they are in our very messy bedroom! At least Rhett was happy about getting a photo and Stella was more interested in eating breakfast.

I will fess up to the fact that she was really happy that we had breakfast food in our house again and was not going to do anything but eat. I had not been wanting to go to the store and shop for food and kept putting it off just making due with what we had, well she had had enough the day before when I had tried to feed her peanut butter crackers for breakfast! She said, "No, Thank you!" and wanted something else. I realized that I had to go to the store and could no longer put it off another moment, so she was a very happy girl when I gave her pancakes this Sunday morning.

What a mess!

Today I left the room for a moment to use the restroom. I have decided that I can no longer use the restroom during the day. Stella was able to get up on the counter and get a hold of the new box of oxi clean and play in it. It takes just seconds for her to create a huge mess for me to clean up. I guess the good side was this motivated me to mop the floor! She is under the table. This is her new favorite place to hang out.

Hide and Seek

We do not really play hide and seek with Stella but I am thinking that she would be great at the game. These photos are from Tuesday afternoon. She was in her room playing and all of the sudden I heard her crying. I walk in her room and did not see her, then all of a sudden I realize she is behind her bed and stuck! I had to take some photos!

On Wednesday morning I was really tired and heard Stella crying at about 5 AM I asked Jason to go and check on her. I am awakened 5 minutes later to Jason freaking out because he could not find her. I got up and we started searching the house to find her a few minutes later hanging out in my closet. I guess I heard her crying as she walked through our room! It is never a dull moment in our house.

ER visit #2

Monday evening I got the honor of taking Stella for her second ER visit. Yes, we got to spend from 11PM till 4 AM in the most wonderful place on earth for a sprained wrist. It all happened earlier in the evening. Jason and Stella were messing around and he picked her up by her hands, when he set her down she started crying and holding her wrist. We thought that it was possibly nurses elbow and would work itself out but three hours later she was still crying and holding her wrist. We decided that it best to take her and have it checked out. Jason stayed home with Rhett and I took her to see the Dr. We had an awesome nurse named Brandon that was so great with Stella. He was great and really tried to make it a fast process but it is the ER and things just take time. We got some x-rays but it did not show anything but the child would scream anytime you touched or moved her wrist. They are pretty sure that it is a sprain but if it does not get better by next week I have to take her back for some more x-rays. I can tell you that I am one very tired momma and she is one very tired little girl. Home from the ER.

Naked House

If you come around our house these days, this is more than likely what you will find. Stella does not want to go potty on the potty but she does not want to wear a diaper either. I will just tell you it is not a good situation. She does like to show off that birthday suit though.

Go Hogs Go

Stella got to go to the game with Papa and Daddy on Saturday. I think that she had a pretty good time and made friends with everyone that sits in section 106. I do know that she was one very tired little girl from cheering those hogs to victory!

Brother and Sister

Stella loves to hold Rhett and he likes to sit on her lap. I am hoping this is a good sign for life to come.

Hello

Stella loves to talk on the phone, if you give her the phone you are not going to be getting your "Hello" returned for a long time. In these photos she is talking to Aunt Mel.

Stella's First Dance Lesson

This evening I got to take Stella to her first dance lesson! I think that she had a really good time considering that when we got back in the car she said "Thank you Mommy". I am hoping that she will do OK most of the girls in the class our 4 but it is funny because she is almost as tall as all of them. I do feel sorry for Amanda the teacher because I do not think she was prepared for all the energy that is bursting from my little girl. I think that this will be a fun process to watch and see if Stella will actually learn her dance for recital or just run around in circles.

Rhett's 2 month Dr. Appointment

Today I got to take Rhett for his 2 month check up with Dr. Cadle. She of course said that he was perfect, like there was any doubt that he was anything but perfection! He is now weighing in at 12 pounds 8 ounces and 23 inches long. He is growing into a very big boy. He does still have a clogged tear duck but was told to just keep massaging it and it should work itself out. Can you believe how red my little mans hair is getting!

Colton Robert

Rhett and I got to meet Colton on Monday afternoon. He is so cute! It is funny to think that he was the exact same weight and height as Rhett and to see how much bigger Rhett is now compared to Colton. Congratulations Kraig, Connie, and Lauren you have one very handsome little boy!
