Tonight was the first time the kids had a bath together. I figured it was OK now that Rhett is pretty much able to sit up on his own. He had a great time and Stella loved pouring water over his head.

Rhett is loving this toy that Mrs. Melba got for him at Christmas. He has so much fun with it. Thanks Mrs. Melba.

We still have a pretty sick house. I am feeling better but Rhett and Stella are still sick and now Jason has gotten sick also. Not a lot of fun going on around here.

The things that a dad does to entertain his very sick family!

Yes, we are still sick. I feel like death might be better than what I have at the moment. Stella is doing better and Rhett is not doing real great but getting better.

You will not be getting any photos from this house today. We are full of sick people and you would just be a lot happier never to have to see this side of our life. I have been sick sense about two AM and then Rhett started in at about 8 AM. Stella did great until this evening and then she too joined the sick gang. Poor Jason has been home all day dealing with us and will probably be stuck with us again tomorrow. Lets just pray he does not join us!

Stella does this every morning, were ever I am in the house she always finds me with her pillow and hangs out. This morning I was in the shower so she hung out on the rug in my bathroom while waiting on me.
We went to the jump zone today and got to play with Parker and Scarlett Bell. The kids had a great time and got warn out in the process.

Our fun time has come to an end, we must all go home.

Today we spent most of the day shopping. That is something that my whole family is very good at and we really enjoy it. I have to say that both kids did great considering that we were gone all day and neither of them got a nap. Jason and my dad stayed home and had dinner waiting on us when we got home Yummy!Aunt Mel playing with Rhett.

Stella with Mallory, she thinks she is big stuff and told her daddy that she wanted a nose ring like cousin Mallory.

Some love from her cousin for a very tired little girl.
Do all children stand this close to the TV. I can not get her to stop.
Mallory and Stella made rice crispies!

We have all arrived at the Lake house. My parents and my aunt and cousins are here with us. It should be a fun time. Stella loves Mallory and Morgan but most of all she LOVES Macie the dog. Macie does not have a lot of love for her though. everyone hanging out.
My family has this weird habit of seeing how many people can sit on top of each other. I have no idea why we do this but we do and have all of my life.
Morgan looking very pretty but very tired.

Stella having one of the strawberry rice crispy treats that she helped make. She said that they were "Yummy"The best way to end the evening, watching a movie on mom and dad's bed.

OK so a funny story on my Stella Bella today. I picked her up from school and as we walk to the car I asked her, "Did you have a good day today?"
Stella "Oh yes, mommy"
Me "What did you do today?"
Stella "We made a black Jesus"
In my head I am like OK so I start looking through her bag for a picture maybe she had painted or colored, there was nothing. I just figured she was being my little random girl.
After school we had to go to a store here in town. We walk in and Stella walks up the clerk and says " I went to school today, we made black Jesus" The clerk is looking at me like What? I just shrug my shoulders and keep walking. I have no clue what that silly girl is talking about.

Today has been a very low key day around our house. I have not been feeling well and Rhett is not on top of his game either. We have just hung out around the house. Stella was "Making a List" tonight while I was cooking dinner. She was so cute and concentrating very hard on what she was "writing".

Look at that pretty pony tell that my little lady was sporting today!
This evening we gave her the Razorback stick horse that I had gotten and put away to give her on Valentine's Day and then with all the craziness I forgot about it. She was loved riding around the house on it and of course we all had to take a turn on it. I will spare you from having to view those photos! (Thanks Aunt Gracie for helping us find this great gift!)

Parker came over today to play with Stella. They had such a good time and get along really well. It does make me think of what life would be like to have twins. When there is two of them they sure can get into things and make a mess very fast. I think the good time they have with each other makes up for the rest of it though. I am glad that Stella and Rhett have both been blessed with such great friends.
I would kill for some eye lashes like this boy has got.

Parker was trying to feed me some pizza for lunch, it was very good.
This is a special photo for Parker's dad. I just want him to know that I told Parker to pick out a blanket to use for nap time and this is the one he picked all on his own. I am going to bring your boy to the good side!

I can not tell you how excited that we are to be home! We arrived at about 10 PM this evening and it took us about two hours longer than it should have but who cares! We are home, I can not wait to sleep in my own bed. The kids are also very excited to be home.
I am not looking forward to doing all of this laundry though! Bummer, I think that if we ever want to have anything to wear again I had better get started.

Today is suppose to be full of love and happiness, for my family it has been the day from Hell! It started off OK but went down hill very fast. We were heading home knowing it was going to be a long day just because of the 14 hour drive with two kids and an Jason's father. We had just stopped to get some lunch, gas and bathroom break and were back on the road. When Jason hit a pallet in the middle of the high way and I mean nailed the thing! It was so loud and scared the pee out of me. Needless to say we ended up with a very flat tire, we had to drive back thirty minutes to find a Wal-Mart that had what we needed and it took them an hour and half to get it changed. I do have to give Jason and I some credit on this tire issue because we handled it very well and did not yell or get upset with it. I think we both realized that sometimes you have to roll with the punches and just laugh or you are going to lose it. We thought good we are now back on the road, if only we knew what lay ahead of us.

We knew that there was storm coming to Iowa area but were hoping that we were going to beat it but our tire delay put us right in the middle of it. The roads just got to be too bad and after we saw about twenty cars end up in the ditch with three or four of them upside down it was time for us to pull over. So, my husband got me this cockroach motel for Valentine's day with my father in law and two kids all squeezed into it, it was very romantic let me tell you. We were not even sure if we were going to be able to drive the next day. That is the thought that was sending me over the edge!

The pretty wall paper in our room!
ME, losing my mind.
Stella showing how mommy was feeling on the inside.

She found a little place under the table to read a book and get away from everyone. I really needed that space for myself.
