Stella's 6th Birthday Party!

Stella had her 6th birthday party at Aspire Gymnastics were she takes classes each week. It was such a good idea, the kids had so much fun and to be honest it was such an easy party to throw because I really just had to order a cake! The kids got to jump on the different trampolines, play in the foam pit, use the rings and bars, the kids pretty much were all over the gym. I told my mom that it kind of felt like controlled craziness! I am so glad that Stella got to spend her day with all of her friends and that she had so much fun. Thank you everyone that came and helped us celebrate!

Wild Jumping Bean

This little guy has more energy than anyone you ever meet in your life! He spent his whole day out on that trampoline just jumping, jumping, jumping away! He was having the time of his life out there, he would come inside for about 5 minutes them be right back outside jumping again. (we do have the net up and around it now)

Stella's 6 Birthday

The day has arrived, we now have our first 6 year old! Stella, it seems like just yesterday that we were bringing you home from the hospital, in shock that they just let us walk out of the hospital with you, they were crazy, we had no clue what we were doing but we knew that we loved you with all our hearts, never knowing that with each day we grow to love you so much more. Stella you are our little star, our princess, daddy's girl, our sass and vinegar with a little sugar on the side, our leader, our boss, our beauty, you are everything that we had hoped for in a little girl and more. Stella you are so determined, so strong and so smart but so sweet, so loving, and so caring. This past year has been so much fun to see how much you have grown and matured, how you have handled change in our lives with such grace and understanding, you have adapted to our new home, a new sibling with such ease, we are just so proud of you and love you so much! Happy Birthday Stella Emory!

Today for Stella's birthday Jason was able to take off work early to come home, have lunch, open presents and go to the new water park. It was such a fun day spent with our family of five, hanging out and celebrating our big girl!

Rhett is having some issues that it is not his birthday! We have had Cy's birthday and have been talking about Stella's birthday and he wants to know or more demands when we are going to start talking about his birthday!

Stella has started giving us the look a lot lately, ugg she looks so grown up!
Walking out to daddy's truck to see her big present, a new trampoline for the back yard, umm Rhett was more excited about it that she was, but she had asked for it!

Sassy girl waiting in line at the water park

I am pretty sure Rhett went down this slide 5,000 times!

This evening we got to have pizza and I made some homemade cupcakes for dinner!

Swimming Lessons 2013

This week we had swimming lessons each evening, the kids were in heaven. We are so lucky that the kids really enjoy being in the water and all things that go along with it. They are actually very upset that lessons are over, they think it should go on all summer long! This year we decided to do private lessons at the local pool, it was such a great choice because I really feel like they learned so much more by getting more practice because they were not waiting on other people to take turns. When we told Stella that she was going to be by herself with an instructor, she was upset because "how was she going to make friends", that is our Stella always more worried about the social aspects of things than what she is actually there to learn!

I was so proud of Stella, she was going under water and picking up rings off the floor of the pool, and had no problem with putting her head in the water and doing her hand strokes. She did such a good job and her instructor was wonderful!

Rhett is just such a funny little guy, he kept his instructor on his toes because he has no fear what so ever, he will just jump in the water no mater were he is or who is around him, this is a little bit of a problem. He also did great with going under water and really worked on getting his kicking down. We were really proud of how far he came in just a week.

Cy got to hang out and watch with mom and dad each day, he was such a trooper watching the big kids while sitting in the heat for about an hour each day.
