7 Months

I can not believe that Stella is now 7 months old! It seems like just the other day that I found out I was pregnant with her. As you can see in the photos of her, she is now able to hold her own bottle. She is little Miss Independent, she wants to do it all herself. Stella has still not started to crawl but is getting up on her hands and knees. She loves for dad to be hold her upside down and swing her around. (I think that she is going to be great at the bars, in gymnastic and a future cheerleader) Her favorite time of the day is when Dad gets home in the evening. He walks in the door and she lights up. She did have her first Dr. appointment the other day because she has had a very runny nose and starting to get a cough but they said it was nothing more than a cold. She is getting much better now. She does weigh 22 pounds and 2 ounces now!

Hiding Spot

I thought everyone would love to see Stella's favorite spot to hide and play. For some reason no matter were you put her, she always ends up under the entertainment center. She is getting around the house faster and faster each day. She is now able to get up on all fours and rocks back and forth. I am sure that we are just days away from her crawling! It is just scary to think of what all she will be getting into!

6 months

So, I am a little late at getting started on this blog, probably should have started it when Stella was born but I will try to make up for lost time. I thought this might be a good way for everyone to keep caught up on how Stella is growing and what she is learning. So, to get everyone caught up to date: Stella is 6 months old, She weighs in at 22 pounds and 27 inches long! She is now eating fruits and veggies along with her bottles. She loves to roll over, this is her main form of transportation around the house, though she is learning that once she gets from the rug to the hard wood floor she can scoot backwards anywhere she wants to go.(Note that I did say that she goes backwards, we have not mastered the moving forward yet! I don't think that this is a problem as of yet, if she starts walking and only goes backwards then I think I will start to worry.) Last night Dad discovered that the tooth we have been working really hard on has finally broken through the gums! You can see the top of the tooth and feel it! Our little girl is growing up! Well, that should get you updated on were we are as of now. I hope to be good at keeping up the blog so all those of you that can not stand to go a moment with out my daughter will know what is going on. I know that she is the light of my life and so she must be the light of every one's! :)
