Ninety-seven

This evening I was walking through Wal-Mart getting some groceries, thank goodness they had an end  cap of eggs to remind this horrible mom that she had not done one of the major Easter traditions with her children, dye Easter eggs. I know that it has no true meaning behind the reason for the holiday but I feel that any time you do something that is associated with that holiday it gives you a moment to spend with your children and talk about the WHY of the celebration. Well, there daddy, God love him, could totally pass on these kinds of traditions. Anything that could possibly cause a mess just about sends him over the egg, the thought of dye, his children and eggs, probably caused about 15 more gray hairs and he had to be in control of the whole process! I do love that man, he will stare at his daughter in wonder about were she gets her strong will and need to know the how and the why of everything, well she gets it from him! So, to get this train back on track, Easter egg dyeing, the kids  had a blast!
Stella informing her brother that he MUST sit down or Daddy would not let them do this fun project. HaHa!
Listening to Daddy tell them exactly what was and was not allowed while dyeing Easter Eggs.
Finally getting to dye some eggs!

Stella was not on her "A" game this evening. Not sure what was wrong she just was in a funk and not feeling great. I am pretty sure that the allergies are really going to be bad for her this year.

He has to be the best daddy ever!
