Dr. Cadle- 18 months

We went and saw Dr. Cadle for our 18 month appointment. Stella is now 32 inches and 28 pounds. My little lady is growing up and getting very big. The nurse gave her a pen to color with while we waited on Dr. C to come in the room. She had a blast with it.

Fayetteville Square

We took Stella down to see the lights on the Square but found that it was freezing so we only did a speed walk around the square. Next year we need to make sure and go on one of the warmer nights. Stella only wanted Uncle Kyle once again to hold her, I think that he might be ready to go back to school. It was fun to see the look of wonder on Stella's face as she took in all the lights and we got to see Mike and Gracie who were there also. Stella with her Uncle Kyle. OH! He is single if there are any ladies out there that like baseball, A LOT!

Bad, Bad, Bad Daddy

I wanted to go and see a movie, Jason said he would watch Stella. I did not think it was a big deal that he was going to take her over to see DKP because he was in town for Christmas. Little did I know that Jason would allow the boys (Morgan) to teach Stella some very, very bad things! Stella is not allowed to hang out with them until she is 21 and by then Jason probably will have her locked in a tower were no boys can get to her.

18 months

Today my baby girl is 18 months! This just seems so crazy to me, I can not believe how much she has changed and grown up, I want my baby back! These are just a few updates for family on what she is up to now.

1.)Stella still loves puppies with all her heart, she does not like for them to be put outside or locked in a room with out her, she will stand at the door and cry for them to be let back in.

2.)Stella loves to be set free, the moment she started walking she was running, anytime that she can be outside and just be free she is the happiest little girl.(This is also when you can get the most amazing photos of her)

3.)Stella hates for her hands be dirty, if anything gets on them she is making sure that you clean them off.

4.)Stella has 12 teeth but pretty sure she is working on some new ones.

5.)Stella is very loud! There is no volume control, we are working on this but have not made very much progress as of yet.

6.)Stella loves to give you big hugs, hugs that knock other children larger than herself over. This is a new thing, she did not like to give any kind of love for the longest time so Mom and Dad are just loving the hugs. She is still very stingy with the kisses but hugs will do for now.

7.)Stella loves her Uncle Kyle, the moment he walks into a room she is all over him and gets very angry when he leaves and she can not find him.

8.)Stella can now tell you when she has peepee or poopood in her diaper. We are going to start the potty training for real at the begining of the year even though it really scares mom to think about it.

9.)Stella has begun to throw some major fits! I am not sure were than temper comes from but the girl has a huge one when she does not get her way.

10.)Stella loves any form of electronics, cell phones and remote controlles being her favorite. She also knows when you have given her a fake phone to use and lets you know that she is smarter than you think!

11.)Stella has a new word, No No, but you have to say it very drawn out and slow, you then have to procede to spank her babies leg. (Hhmm not sure were she would have learned this!)

12.)Stella loves to draw! Anytime I need to have just a few moments to myself to get things done, give her some colors and paper.

13.)Stella it seems is going to be left handed, anytime you hand her a fork or writing utensil it goes in her left hand to be used. She feeds herself with her left hand, everything is left handed. This is making her daddy very worried about this costing him more money, mom thinks this just makes her that much more special.

14.)Stella loves her daddy, she walks around the house saying his name and looking for him when he is at work, the moment he walks in the door she is full of smiles and hugs for him. Daddy is Stella's hero.

15.)Stella is getting more and more blonde hair! She looks like a little dandoline when she is running around with all the blonde fluff on top of her head.

16.)Stella does not like carrottes but loves green beans, we go through green beans like you would not believe at our house. She is also really likeing bananas more and more.

17.)Stella loves to to carry bags around, anytime she finds an empty bag she picks it up and carries it over her arm like a purse.

18.)Stella does not sit in a high chair anymore, she is big stuff and sits in a big girl seat at the table with mom and dad.

A Christmas Tinkle

Today, on Christmas Stella took her first tinkle on the big potty! I am so excited but so dreading the whole potty training thing. She was really excited and so proud of herself. I guess the potty training has started, I am sure that I will be letting you know how it all goes. Sitting on the potty.

I am looking at Jason not sure if to be excited or scared to death, wondering were my baby has gone.

Christmas Day

Christmas day was really a lot of fun, my dads family all came to the lake house to eat lunch and enjoy some time with one another. It was a really relaxing fun time. The whole family, my parents, my grandparents, 2 sets of great-aunt and uncles, my uncle, my brother, my husband, and daughter.

Stella would not leave Kyle alone all day, was all over him. I thought about feeling sorry for him but then I remembered all the years that he torchered me and got over it really fast.

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve is such a fun time for our family. We all meet at the lake house and have a big dinner, this year I was the cook of the lasagna, then open presents. Stella had so much fun and I can not believe what a joy it was to watch her so happy about each present. (This post has a lot of photos!) Stella showing off her Chuck Taylor's, Jason is now calling her Chuck. These are the shoes that she brings for you to put on her feet to go outside.

Stella got a new hat and mittens today at the store! She loves wearing them and does not want to take them off!

Lake House

All of the family has gone home but Jason, Stella and I are staying at the lake house through Christmas. We all love being her because we just get to relax and pretty much do nothing. Stella and I tried to go on a little walk to day but she chose to throw one of her fits! I have no clue what is going on with her but she is now just breaking out in tears and throwing her body on the ground for no reason what so every. I understand when she does it because I have taken something away from her or gotten on to her but the random ones are a curve ball I do not understand. If anyone has a clue how to fix these I am all ears. Anyway, these are photos from our attempt at a walk today.
