Fifty-Six

It was wedding day! We started the day off with a Bridal Brunch on Dickson Street. It was wonderful food and such a good way to start our day off.

The mother of the bride, the bride, and the sister of the bride.

From the Bridal Brunch, we went to get our hair and make up done. We had a little time to spare before we had to be back at the hotel for the limo to pick us up to go to the church. So, what better thing to do than grab a little snack and champagne!
Gracie was super wonderful and even found some non-alcholic champagne for her pregnant bridesmaid!
The bride, Gracie, and her maid of honor, Liz.
The three of us, Liz, Gracie, and me.
In the limo heading to the church

OK, this was funny, there were these stitches at the end of Gracie's train that kept making it pucker. We were getting ready in a teachers class room and were able to find some scissors to cut them with, well, once we got the scissors in hand we got a little nervous about actually cutting the string on her wedding dress. Liz was making some pretty funny faces and Gracie was drinking some more champagne and just ignoring us!

Is her bouquet not wonderful! I love the roses and the cotton.
She looked so pretty, Mike is one lucky lucky guy.

These are my silly photos in the classroom that we were getting ready in, I'm sure that the photographers got much better ones than these.

This is the grooms sister and brother in law, they were having a great time at the reception. Mike and Gracie really had a wonderful location for the reception and a great band that got people up and danceing. It was such a great evening.

The end of the evening!

Congratulations to my best friend and her wonderful husband. I am so thankful that I got to be a part of your special day. I wish you many years of love, laughter, and happiness.
