My brother and I took the kids up to see our grandparents today. Stella loves going up there because of all the animals and my grandmother will let her do what ever she wants, I am guessing it is pretty much how it was when I was a kid. Stella got to ride her pony and Uncle Kyle's horse, Lucky. She also played with all the neighbors dogs and ran around the fields. She was so tired by the time we went to leave we had not made it down the drive way and she was a sleep. That is a sign that she has had a great time. Rhett did really good on the 2 hour drive there and back, he also got to cuddle with his great grandparents and there is not anything that is better than some loving!

Flash Cards
Jason was worried that Stella did not know all the things that she should know for a two year old, he told me that we needed to get some flash cards to start working with her. I kept telling him that she was doing really good and knew a lot more than he thought. I am not sure what he thought I did with her all day but I went ahead and got the flash cards. These photos are from the first and only night he did them with her because she knew 50 of the 60 cards, he decided that she was the smartest little girl he had ever seen and maybe I was not doing such a bad job during the day after all!

Clothing
I learned my lesson, never say the words "Just put something on her, it does not matter.". This is what my child came out wearing when daddy picked her clothing, spandex leggings, a cardinal shirt, tennis shoes, no socks and some wild hair! I will not make that mistake again!

Sister/Brother Love
OK These are not the greatest photos, I just had to capture the moment to be able to remember that there was a time that they loved each other. I need to have proof to look back on when they are teenagers and screaming and slamming doors in each others faces.

Main Street
Luke at Main Street does an amazing job if anyone is needing some great photos of their kids. He has done all of Stella's photos and soon will be starting on Rhett's.

Bath Time
Tonight I was giving Stella a bath at my parents because Jason is out of town. These are just a few of the photos from her playing in the tub.

Hair
I gave Rhett a bath last night and was sitting on the couch feeding him. Stella was sitting next to me watching toons and playing with his hair. I did not realize until I was done and getting him ready for bed what she had done to his hair. We just may have to let her style his hair from now on!

Big Sister
Everyone keeps asking how Stella is doing with her little brother, these photos should answer that question. She really is doing great. She loves him and makes sure that he has a blanket to cover him with and gives him lots of kisses. She does not like for him to be upset and makes you get him the moment he starts to fuss. I am very proud of how well she is doing being the new big sister.

Great Grandparents
Today Stella got to introduce her Great Grandparents to her new bother and their new great grandson. Grandpa Sam was already making big plans for Rhett and Grandma Mary was having a great time with Stella. Stella found out she really loves some KFC, not one of her mothers favorite restaurants. It was really nice to be able to see my grandparents with my children, I know that is not something that everyone has and is very special.

The Park
We took Stella and Rhett to the park the other evening. This is one of the things that Stella loves to do. Rhett was just hanging out taking it all in, I think he liked his first trip to the park or at least he did not complain about being there! Jason was having fun riding on the slides with Stella.
