Happy Number 7 Stella!!

I can not believe that you are 7 today! It seems like just the other day you were a baby in my arms wanting to be rocked and held. You are growing up way to fast, ready to run and spread your wings, it is a challenging thing as a parent to watch but a beautiful thing at the same time. Stella, you can make me want to pull out my hair at moments but I would never change anything about you. Stella, you are strong, smart, caring, understanding, loving, take charge, rule the world kind of girl, I would not want it any other way. I know with each year that passes that you are going to do great things with the life that God has given you. Stella, your smile lights up the room, your tears break our hearts, you laughter fills our hearts with happiness, your helpfulness brings warmth to cold days, your sassy attitude makes us grit our teeth, you bring a special something to our family that makes it complete. I hope you will always remember that in this world you can do anything you want but always remember to be yourself.

I have to say that this verse fits you to the letter. You have a strength and grace about you that at 35 I only dream of having, I hope that never changes. I love you with my whole heart, princess.

Stella's 7th Birthday Party

We had Stella's 7th Birthday party a couple days before her actual birthday. It was at a local art studio that caters to kids. Stella invited a couple of girls from her class at school and her cousins. Stella was so excited to see her friends from school that she had not seen in a couple of weeks. Each child got to paint a purse to take home with them. I think that they all had a good time. Happy Birthday Stella! 

Last Day

I can not believe that the last day of Kindergarten is already here! Stella has had a really good year and made so many new friends and learned so much. We are so proud of her and all that she has accomplished this year! 

Dance Recital 2014

Stella had her dance recital tonight! She had so much fun and loves to be on the stage in front of everyone. It makes me so proud that she has no fear about getting up there and doing her best in front of a room full of people, she totally gets this from her daddy because I would be a nervous wreck! We love getting to see her shine on the stage, Stella you did a great job! 

Rhett 4 year old program

This morning we got to attend Rhett's end of the year program at school. Rhett has been in the 4 year old class with Mrs. Karen and LOVED every minute of it. Rhett is now able to spell his first name, he can point out most letters in the ABC's, count to 15 with no help, to name just a few of  the things that he has learned this year. They did a really job of singing a couple of songs, Jason and I even got to get up and sing one song along with them, pretty sure that was Rhett's favorite part. 

 Do you see the grin on Rhett's face, it's because he knows what Mrs. Karen is about to say. When they asked all the other children what they wanted to be when they grew up they said, fireman, Dr., ballerina but when they asked Rhett what he wanted to be when he grows up, a real Pokeman battler! Mrs. Karen later told me she asked him 3 times what he wanted and each time he said the same thing and looked at her like "what are you not getting, I know what I am going to be when I grow up." This boy never stops throwing surprises at us that is for sure!

Tennis for Stella

Stella started tennis lessons this spring. She has been really enjoying them and looks forward to going to them each week. I have to say it is pretty fun to watch her doing the drills and really having a good time. 

 Rhett and Cy also have a good time just hanging out and running around while she is at her lesson each week!

Cy turns 2!!

Happy Birthday to my baby Cyler Ward!! Cy you may continue to grow bigger and get older but you will always be my baby. I can not believe how much you have changed in the last year. Cy is now 38 pounds and 37 and 1/2 inches long, he is wearing a size 4T shirt, 3T shorts and size 9 shoes, lets just say that he is a big kid! Cy is starting to talk more, he says momma, daddy, Rhett, me, please, mine, hi, bye, yum, Gigi, juice, and his most favorite word of all Stella! He always gets his point across with grunts because the big kids talk for him, we are trying to make him speak more for himself but when you have a 6 and 4 year old that are happy to talk for him it makes things a little hard. Cy loves to be outside, he loves to run and jump and climb, he wants to do whatever the big kids are doing at all times. Cy still has his pacifier and blanket that he takes with him most places and always sleeps with, I have to be honest I will probably not being taking those away anytime soon! Cy, we love you so much, you are a blessing to our family each and every day. 

 He might have been a little excited about seeing his new four wheeler from Gigi and Papi!

Stella's Kindergarten Program

Today was such a fun day! Jason and I got to go and watch Stella's kindergarten Bug Program and then got to have lunch with her. It is so crazy to think that this school year is almost over. I can not believe all the changes that have happened in just one school year. Stella has become more mature, more independent, learned to read and write, she is doing math. It is amazing to watch our baby girl grow and become a young lady. Stella we are so proud of you and all that you are accomplishing! 

Mallory is a College Graduate!!!!!

Today we got the honor of watching Mallory walk across the stage and graduate from the U of A. Our family has LOVED having her live here for the past four years and are very sad and excited to see her go to Lousianna to continue on with her education. Mallory we are so proud of you and how hard you have worked to receive your degree!
