Cy's Parent/Child Dedication Day

Today was not only Mother's Day but it was also the day that we got to take Cy before our church body and ask their help in guiding him to become a godly young man. This is such a special day. I have to say that it was kind of funny, when they said our name and the above slide came on the screen everyone had a very good laugh! I have to tell you that Stella and Rhett did an amazing job on stage this morning. I am so proud of my family of five, they fill me with so much love and joy and laughter. 

Oh,for those of you  that were wondering, Cy is starting to become a little turd at times, he loves to pull Rhett's hair, I think he is made because he does not have any!

Rhett's School Program

Today was Rhett's school program for the end of the year. I have to say that he has been blessed this year with a wonderful teacher. We love Mrs. Alicia, she is just so wonderful with all of the kids. The program was great and of course Rhett was a ham on stage. You never know with him how he will be but he was very excited that his daddy got to come to the program, he kept waving at him and saying hi! 

 I may be his momma but he has such a wonderful smile it just brightens the room

 I love that they say the pledge of allegiance each morning.

Mr. and Mrs. Greene

Today Stella had the honor of being a flower girl and Mrs. Melba's marriage to Mr. Richard. Melba has been a major part of Jason's life, she is like a mother to him in many ways. Melba has been there for Jason and our family at all of the most important moments in our lives and it was a wonderful thing to be able to be a part of their special day. We are so happy for Mr. and Mrs. Richard Greene. We love you so much, thank you for letting us be present for your special moment and letting Stella be such a big part of your special day. 

Sunday Walk

Today after church the weather was so wonderful we loaded everyone up and went to walk to trails at Crystal Bridges.It was so wonderful and the kids had such a good time getting to run and look at all the pretty flowers and fish in the water. 

Slumber

This girl is such a mess most days, so strong willed, so full of life, so full of sass, but moments like these remind me that she is also such a sweet, loving, kind, caring little girl. Stella may have an outer shell that shows how strong and powerful she is but she has an inner core that is one of the sweetest and loving young women you will ever meet. I am so proud of all the different components that make up this wonderful young lady. 

Rough Housing

Cy is getting big enough to rough house some on the floor with the big kids. I am not sure how he was feeling about it this day but it was kind of cute! 

Rainy Day

There is nothing better than to paint some pictures on a rainy day.
