Most days Stella and Rhett take their afternoon nap at the same time, every once in a while this does not happen. It is kind of nice because then I get some real one on one time with which ever one happens to be up. Today was one of those days and I really did not have a lot to get done while Stella was down so I put Rhett's hair in a mohawk! It was a lot of fun for me and sense we have an appointment to get both the kids hair cut tomorrow this was my last chance! He was in such a great mood this afternoon and all over the place.



He loves to stand at this window and look out at Max, our lab, playing in the back yard.

This evening Stella got to go to the Naturals baseball game with Papi, Uncle KyKy and her daddy. She had a very good time and keeps talking about all the food they let her eat! She is not a big fan of Strike the mascot. Uncle Ky tried to help out with getting a picture but she was really not that into it.

This is a stance she takes all the time when she is telling someone what they should be doing. Wonder what strike is suppose to be doing?

OK so I have to say a great big sorry to the lady that had to wipe my daughter's bottom this evening! They had seats in one of the boxes and Jason went out for a moment and Stella I guess told one of the women that she had to go potty and they took her! I am not for sure in all the details because Stella was telling me about the women in green wiping her bottom after she went poo poo and I just have to say to who ever that is THANK YOU and I AM SO SORRY! I really thought I was going to kill my husband when she was telling me this but he lives to see another day.

Another wonderful day on the lake, We started off swimming at our dock. One of the other families that shares a dock with us was down and there kids are so great with Stella. She also loves the fact that their dogs have life jackets and swim in the lake with them!

Rhett had been a sleep on the boat and he woke up one happy boy!
Today was wonderful out on the lake and it was even better because it was Gigi's birthday. Happy birthday Mom! We could not ask for a better Mom/Gigi, we love you very much!

We have spent all day out on the lake, is there really any better way to spend a summer day? Stella has been saying all day, "I love boat rides!" I am so glad that she loves boat rides because she is probably going to be on a lot of them in her lifetime! Rhett does great on the boat, for the most part we load up in the boat and before we even leave the dock he has gone to sleep. We put a towel down for him to lay on and drape another towel over him to keep the sun away and he is good to go for a while.

We are at the lake house this weekend. Stella was using Gigi's purse and pretending that she was going to work, she had very important things to get done!

Tonight was the night, we went to the Grape Festival! I have to say that my husband just loves anything that has to do with carnies, he looks forward to the Grape Festival all year long. I look forward to it because of the rides, food and music; not Jason he just wants to look at what people are wearing and acting. it was a lot of fun this year because Stella could ride the rides.

We got to meet up with DKP, Mrs. K and Little L for dinner at Jose's before hand. They had some karaoke going on and of course Stella and Little L got up on the stage and were dancing for everyone. I wish I had taken my camera in with us but forgot it in the car. Stella and Little had such a great time with each other and rode all the rides at the Grape Festival.
Stella did not know were to look first when we arrived.
Poor Little L was getting some great big hugs that I am not sure she was so thrilled about. Hey, Stella says, "Go big or go home."




This is really funny, Little L wanted to go on the roller coaster and talked Stella in to going with her. Stella had no clue what she was getting into, it was very funny.

Yes, that is a look of panic on my daughters face but after about three times around she started to like it!




It was a very fun evening with great people.

Today I cut Rhett's hair, it was just way to thick and with the weather being over a 100 for more days than I can keep track of I thought it was time to cool him off. I guess you could say I more thinned out his hair rather than cut it. (I know that the men out their are like,"How can you hair be too thick?" but yes it can be too thick.)

Hair in my sink, I think that I had enough to make a really nice hair piece.
The after, he seemed happy enough with my results. Jason got home tonight and thought I had done OK but could have gone shorter in the back, we are going to have to take him to have that done because my skills are very limited.

This is a very exciting day for me, Rhett is holding his own bottle! I know that this is probably not a big deal to anyone other than me but I am very excited, I was actually a little worried that he was not doing this as of yet. Just one more step to my little man growing up, sad but good.
These next photos are probably only funny to me but they make me laugh. Everyone thinks that Rhett is just the happiest little boy they have ever seen. Well, you can see for yourself what happens when he gets told NO, it is not a pretty site. I am thinking that it actually kind of scares me of what could happen in the future with my little red head.

My friend Jamie gave me this little toy for Rhett and I thought that he would like it but had no idea that it would be such a life saver. Anytime I need him to be busy for a few minutes I show it to him and know that I will have about twenty minutes of free time. Thank you Jamie!

Of course, Stella also enjoys it, you might also enjoy the fact that she did her own hair today! Do you notice a the clothes pin? Yes, it is one of her favorite hair accessories.
