Saturday we took the kids to the pumpkin patch that is right by our house. We meet up with Connor, Parker, Scarlett Bell and their parents. It is not a huge pumpkin patch but the kids got to run around and have a good time. They loved the wagons and all the hay to climb up on, Stella pretty much just wanted to do whatever the boys were doing. Rhett was a trooper and just hung out.

My Little Chatter Box
Stella is my little chatter box, I can not even begin to tell you how many words she is saying because I can not keep up at this point. She has been putting words together for a while, doing a really good job of getting her point and needs across to both Jason and I. Today I realized that she has started speaking in more complete sentences! I am guessing that she has probably done this a couple of times but it just hit me today. She was telling one of her friends at school today "My mommy changes my poopy diapers." Yes, I do change her poopy diapers and am very proud of her for being able to put all those words together, now if I could just get her not to poop in those diapers you would not believe how excited I could become. I just can not believe how big and grown up my "little" girl is becoming.

Mrs. Melba!
Tonight while I got to go out to diner with Gracie, Jason took the kids over to see Mrs. Melba. They had a great time and I hope they did not wear her out to much.

Draw Near
Jason and I are doing a bible study with our church called Draw Near, it is a 50 day study guiding you to draw nearer to God. This weekend the church as a body had a services projects and each group did an event in their community. Our group worked at Mrs. Jean's home cleaning up some left over trash from a small building burning down, also fixed up her steps, did some painting and was able to build a small storage building for her in place of the building that had burned down. I need to say a big thank you to Jamie and Wade for watching the kids so that Jason and I were able to take part in this project. Also they were the first non family members to watch Rhett! (They were also the first people to watch Stella when she was a baby)

1 Month Rhett Samuel
I can not believe that a month has already passed sense Rhett arrived! We are blessed each day to have him as a part of our family. He is starting to really look around more and be more aware of things around him. As of last week he weighed in at 7 pounds 4 ounces and 20 inches long. These are some photos that I took of him yesterday when we went to the farm, I was having fun with a sleeping baby!
