Rhett's Night Terrors

I have to say that this is one of the most exhausting things to ever go through with a child. Rhett is up every night with these and normally more than once. This is just a brief example of what it is like when he wakes up with a "terror", he does not talk but cries, you really can't figure out what is going on and normally about five minutes later he goes back to bed after a drink of water but it is so frustrating because he has NO clue that he was even been awake, well, I guess he really isn't awake but you get what I mean. I am told that it is a faze, that he will grow out of it, it will pass but it sure does seem like it is wanting to hang on for a long time. He has never been a good sleeper, pretty sure he has never slept all the way through the night in his life but this whole not being aware of what is going on around him started about 18 months ago. He wakes up, sitting straight up in his bed with his eyes open but you can tell that he

I do not want to sound like I am being a poor me and I know that we could have much worse problems than children that don't sleep but just wanted to put it out there of what is going on  for our documentation and if anyone has any suggestions.
